3 recent pieces about social media

Some excerpts:
"The platforms of social media are built around weak ties. Twitter is a way of following (or being followed by) people you may never have met. Facebook is a tool for efficiently managing your acquaintances, for keeping up with the people you would not otherwise be able to stay in touch with. That’s why you can have a thousand “friends” on Facebook, as you never could in real life."

"Facebook fans aren't much of a guide to anything, since you can become one and then forget about it entirely. Tweets are slightly better, as they indicate how many people are aware of an event while it's going on. But they indicate only awareness, not support."

你不討厭他、他也不討厭你,所以你們逢年過節還是會互傳簡訊;
你很想珍惜他這個朋友、他也很想珍惜你這個朋友,所以換電話還是換MSN時,不會漏了通知對方;

Mother Teresa Quotes

‎"Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it."

Step Four

Step 4.

Step Three

Step 3
Then I was told: "Not yet done, wait outside"
